HOW TO SUBMIT AN ANIMAL MORTALITY CLAIM
In the event of an equine claim, IMMEDIATE notice of the occurrence is required per the Mortality Policy. In case of death of the insured you MUST arrange for a licensed Veterinarian to conduct a necropsy at your expense.

You MUST seek directly with an NEAI adjuster to obtain permission and approval prior to any surgical procedure and or euthanasia.
If your insured animal has become ill, has sustained an injury or has had an accident THAT IS NOT LIFE THREATENING, you can go online and complete and submit a claims form.

To report a property liability loss that involves a severe injury or death to a third party, IMMEDIATELY contact:
National Equine Adjusting, Inc. at 1-800-783-9418
Contact and cooperate with local police and emergency personnel as circumstances dictate
Gather and write down all incident details
Gather and write down the names and contact information of all witnesses
Secure the names and phone numbers of EMS, police, fire, medical and or hospital personnel
DO NOT ADMIT RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE INCIDENT
Do not discuss the incident with anyone but policy, emergency personnel, NEAL or your insurance agent
Do not disclose any insurance information
In the event of property damage under your Farm and Ranch policy provide IMMEDIATE notice to NEAI at the phone number above.
